Series:

Marian Keyes’ is another author I came across on the Mumsnet Feminism Board. I never picked up a copy of her books whilst shopping as they all had the same pink cover used by most romance novels. And, I would have lost out as Keyes books are all incredible feminist fiction

I also started reading Charlaine Harris’ Aurora Teagarden mysteries, which, again were recommended by the Mumsnet Feminism Bard. The books are great; the TV movies starring Candace Cameron Bure are not. I also enjoyed Elizabeth Peter’s Vicky Bliss books.

Feminism:

Dale Spender’s The Writing or The Sex

History and Memoir:

Maya Angelou’s I know why the caged bird sings

Harriet Jacobs’ Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl
